Ana is a Venezuelan-American Director & Producer. She works in Film, Advertising and Television, creating award-winning fictional films and documentaries, commercials, campaigns, 2D & 3D animation, VR, AR, branded content, and television content in multiple languages and platforms.
Her work has aired in top networks such as Discovery and the BBC, and her films have screened in over a hundred film festivals worldwide, being recognized by major festivals in the UK, US, France, Egypt and the Netherlands among others. Her work has screened at the British Film Institute, the Institute of Contemporary Arts in London, the Art Gallery of Ontario in Toronto, the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston among others and her film 'Mosa' won the prestigious Iris Prize British Award in 2010 and is part of the permanent collection at the British Film Institute and the Inter-university Permanent Research of “Gender, Aesthetics and Audiovisual Culture" (GECA) of the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM) in Spain.
A traveler at heart, she has extensive experience working in Film in Europe, US, Africa and the Middle East; as well as producing commercial campaigns for major brands and ad agencies across the UK, US, Canada, Germany, Brazil, Argentina, India and Mexico.
She has a Bachelors of Arts in Telecommunications, Information Studies and Media from Michigan State University (US) where she specialized in Digital Media Arts and Film, furthering her studies of Avant-Garde and British Cinema at the British Film Institute and obtaining a Master of Arts in Directing for Film & TV at the University of Westminster in London, England.
Ana works between the US, UK and Latin America.
